Boost
your metabolism to lose fat, part 5.....
Today's

In some ways there are two basics for permanent fat
loss.
1. Stop
routinely ingesting the things that reliably fatten you.
Then you stop making the problem worse!
2. Boost your
metabolism so you burn more calories twenty-four hours a day.
Over time that will remove your excess fat.
People who succeed at anything we now know take
consistent action and keep doing it;
-- and they use what Reverend Bob Schuler called “experimental
persistence”: They not only keep at things until they get the results they
want, they take action and test things; they scrap the things that fail but
learn from what happens, they look for new things to try and try them, they put
in the time as a priority increasing their abilities and trying again.
A new book describing this is called “Grit.”
Use that on these two actions and you can lose fat
and keep it off!
2. Boost your
metabolism so you burn more calories twenty-four hours a day.
Over time that will remove your excess fat.
There are four ways to do that:
a) Increase your muscle mass and healthy bone mass.
AND, do the things that prevent losing them. (Part 2 last week had those methods.)
b) Make sure your thyroid levels which control your
metabolism are high enough to give you energy and burn fat and NOT low enough
to do the reverse.
AND, make sure your mitochondria that are the power
centers for each of your cells that supply their energy remain plentiful and
healthy. This ALSO slows aging; and the way that MSG & its cousins reliably
fatten apparently is to do the reverse!
c) Eat the
foods that actually have tested to enable you to eat more calories and food --
yet be lighter AND less fat! (There ARE
some; and eating them is a key to losing fat you keep off because you can do it
without excess hunger.)
d) Ensure that the bacteria in your gut aren’t
making sure you gain and store fat.
(Research shows that if you import otherwise healthy
gut bacteria to cure the dangerous C. Difficile infection but do so from a fat
person, these gut bacteria then make YOU fat.
And, more recent research has found that when you
lose fat even without triggering the low energy plus increase in hunger of the
famine response by using calorie cut backs only some days each week or by
properly done fasting, a separate genetic program causes those same bacteria to
increase unless it’s blocked.)
Last time we ended on part c), Eat the foods that
actually have tested to enable you to eat more calories and food -- yet be lighter
AND less fat!, here’s one more way to keep your metabolism high:
This time we cover:

This is a HUGE influence on how many of the calories
you eat are available for use or fat storage AND how high your metabolism is.
This topic is just beginning to be researched enough
to be useful.
But new information we already know can boost your
fat loss and slash the amount you gain back!
Three known fatteners each work in part due to
boosting fattening bacteria or harming helpful ones.
Despite research finding the data long ago on the
first two, surprisingly few people know of them and always avoid them.
Literally tens of millions of people don’t now!
By learning them and always avoiding them, your
ability to lose fat -- and most importantly keep it off -- will go up WAY up!
The new one may be as powerful as the first two put together!
It has an interesting upside. The foods and drinks that contain it are
almost all the same ones that contain the first two.
And, the new research found the food component they
studied to be so harmful and fattening that knowing it makes it MUCH easier to
turn down ALL these fattening foods and do so 100% of the time.
This is true of me!
Three times in the last few days, I turned down some treat foods that
likely have these particles that I would have allowed myself otherwise as
occasional treats – two chocolate treats and one bit of high protein pizza
toppings because I now know they are almost certain to contain these nano
particles.
*The first one is artificial sweeteners with
Splenda, sucralose, being by far the worst one.
No one who drinks diet soft drinks thinking they
help fat loss is correct.
They are more fattening than high fructose
corn syrup flavored soft drinks. This
loss of protective bacteria and increase in fattening bacteria we now know is
one of the main reasons for this.
The horrible thing is that the tens of millions who
believe the opposite now and who still drink diet soft drinks, compound this
fattening effect by drinking MORE diet soft drinks than people who drink
regular soft drinks each day and each week!
Do you want to lose fat you keep off? One of the most effective ways to do that is
never drink diet soft drinks at all even once!
This effect on the bacteria inside your digestive
system is a major reason why that’s so.
*A study done in China found that in two groups of
people eating identically the same foods containing the same calories, the
people who used lots of MSG were fatter and weighed more than people who ate
none or close to it.
We’ve covered in other parts of this series that
there is some evidence that MSG has this effect by harming the mitochondria that
power EACH of your cells AND by harming your thyroid – both of which lower your
metabolism.
MSG is fattening enough this study found, that I believe
when it’s studied, I believe MSG also boosts fattening bacteria or harms
preventive ones or both.
* To repeat: the
new research found the food component they studied to be so harmful and
fattening that knowing it makes it MUCH easier to turn down ALL these fattening
foods and do so 100% of the time.
It
seems that nanoparticles of titanium dioxide are now added to ingredients in
processed foods and some spices and most cosmetics to ensure they mix well
without clumping.
Long
ago when I read of proposals to use nanoparticles in ways that enable them to
enter people, I was quite concerned because as far as is known, human cells
have no way to remove them. So if they caused harm it could be quite
serious.
We
now have the smoking gun to show this is quite true.
When
ingested nanoparticles of titanium dioxide fatten four ways!
a)
They slow your metabolism likely by harming your mitochondria.
b)
They prevent you from extracting the nutrition from the foods you eat which may
cause overeating in some people or cravings to replace the missing nutrition.
c)
They harm beneficial bacteria and increase fattening ones.
d)
They cause holes in your gut that trigger autoimmune diseases and the steroids
now given for those are fattening and harmful themselves
Packaged
foods, likely baked goods, possibly toothpaste, spices not homemade or at least
organic, most US cosmetics all have them or likely do so.
I
saw this research on Medical News Today. Then I saw this same researched
reported with more details in an email from HSI.
Here
are a few quotes:
"The
latest warning about their use in food was just released by researchers at
Binghamton University.
What
their study found, after exposing intestinal cell cultures in the laboratory to
amounts of titanium dioxide nanoparticles you might get in a typical meal, is
that these things can really mess with your gut.
Exposures
equivalent to what you might get over five days can weaken your protective
intestinal barrier, slow down your metabolism and make nutrients like iron,
zinc, and fatty acids more difficult to absorb. They also caused inflammation
and "negatively affected" enzyme functions."
"....
that's just the latest in a string of bad reports that have come out over the
years about these teeny weeny food additives.
For
example:
Eight
years ago, a laboratory study in mice found that titanium dioxide nanoparticles
were able to penetrate cells and damage DNA.
Two
years ago, a study of their effects on the brains of laboratory animals found
that nanoparticles could produce changes in the brain that gave
"compelling evidence" of potential "neurological dysfunction."
And
just last month, a French study published in the journal Nature found
nano-sized titanium dioxide particles in the livers of rats exposed to it in
drinking water.
The
researchers also noted that titanium dioxide "particles of dietary
origin" have been found in the walls of the small intestines of patients
suffering from inflammatory bowel disease, including infants."
Next week, in our final post in this series we have
two new things to report.
*The first and most important one is a new resource
that multiplies your existing ability to do each of these things.
Research found that it is extremely effective! It is helpful immediately and the full
program only takes 6 weeks.
Each step is quite doable. I began using it today and can report that it
is!
**The second one is a third drug in common use. We knew it fattened people are prevented the
normally effective methods of fat loss from working.
The new information is that it is so extremely
harmful in so many ways other methods should be used instead or switched to
ASAP after you start to fix what taking it does do.
