USATODAY.com - Fat and fit beats thin and soft
Wow. It turns out the post I just did is TWICE as important if you are a bit or a LOT too fat.

If you are read this:

USATODAY.com - Fat and fit beats thin and soft: "LONDON (AP) — Obese people who exercise have half the death rate of those who are trim but don't exercise, a leading expert said Tuesday."

That means it's twice as important for you to exercise if you are more fat than you should be. Why? As you get older as a fat person your risks will rise faster than people who aren't; but you get the SAME protection from exercise that they do. AND, you largely prevent that gradual additional risk besides!

The good news is that fat people who exercise are healthier even while they are still fat than skinny people who don't exercise.

For safety, begin very slowly & take rest breaks periodically even while you are exercising & when you feel your heart rate become more normal & you can again breathe without huffing & puffing start gently again before you go a bit faster.

Don't worry about doing super well at first. Just keep doing it. Within a couple of weeks you'll need fewer rest stops & you will recover faster during each rest stop.

The other good news is that you will gain some muscle & lose some fat even if it's not visible. And, if you also gradually do more & add strength training & eating right, you CAN lose a lot more fat & keep it off. The keys are keep exercising regularly

What if you are trim looking but don't exercise, are you off the hook?

Nope! Separate research has shown that people like you actually have slightly atrophied muscles & have hidden fat internally. That's why getting even some exercise will cut your risk of dying in half.

1. Checked out the link. If you live or work near his gym and are very well to do, his get fit or a 100% refund after 3 months is a neat idea.

AND, Jeff is systematic and knowledgeable enough that so far no one has failed to get enough improvement to force Jeff to give out a refund!

2. Since this post we have done dozens on how to eat for health and permanent fat loss if you need it.

It IS possible to be fit AND lean and healthy too whether you start out with a thin mushy body or a too fat fit one.

In fact, losing excess fat enables you to be more fit! (Your power to weight ration and mobility go up!)

And the health supporting and safe proteins in a health and leanness creating eating style will make your muscles stronger and increase your strength training results.

Jeff,

1. First: Look up and subscribe to the twice weekly blog by James Clear!

His solution is to write the best two blogs he can EVERY week. Some are decent and some are good and some are incredibly good. He found that he could not say in advance that each one would be super good. BUT, by doing one regardless twice a week, he found he can and does write a few incredibly good ones each year.

PS: His decent posts are worth reading! He always starts with a topic worth writing about.

2. Write the outline of the main points you want to cover on a piece of paper or separate file.

Then when you write, just fill in the outline!

3. Then proof what you wrote before you send or publish it. Remove typos. Rewrite sentences that don't say what you want to communicate.

For example, you may be talking about both interval cardio and strength training in a post and use "it" in a sentence about strength training. But you notice you just said something about cardio right before.

So in the sentence about strength training, instead of leaving "it" in your post, put in "strength training." Your point will then be clear!

4. And always focus on what your reader wants to know and you what you right can benefit them. "Write FOR your readers, not AT them!"

Hope that helps!

It pays to follow your own advice!

Proof what you write before posting!

"In fact, losing excess fat enables you to be more fit! (Your power to weight ration and mobility go up!)"

OOPS!

That should read:

In fact, losing excess fat enables you to be more fit! (Your power to weight RATIO and mobility go up!)

4. And always focus on what your reader wants to know and you what you right can benefit them. "Write FOR your readers, not AT them!"

OOPS! That should read:

always focus on what your reader wants to know and HOW WHAT YOU you WRITE can benefit them. "Write FOR your readers, not AT them
